Invention means making of anything which was not present before that time and the person who invent something is called inventor. During the last century, numerous inventions introduced. Some of which important inventions and their inventions are discussed below:

1. COMPUTER

Many people were involved in the invention of computer. Charles Babbage, an English mathematician, originated the idea of a computer in 1822. Later on, in 1936, a famous German scientist Konrad Zuse was credited as being the inventor of first programmed computer. We can solve a lot of problems with the help of a computer in no time. Today computer is used in schools, banks and offices.

2. HELICOPTER

There are also a number of people who worked on manufacturing helicopter. In 1907 a engineer from france, Paul Cornu built the first helicopter which could fly just one foot above the ground. Then a Russian inventor lgor Sikorsky, invented a successful helicopter in 1942. Helicopter is used as a means of transportation.

3. LOUDSPEAKER

In 1924, two Americans, Chester W.Rice and Edward Washburn kellogg, invented a loudspeaker with voice coil It is used in television, radio and computer etc. We listen voices and music with the help of it.

4. PHOTOSTAT MACHINE

The first Photostat machine which is used in offices and business centers in all the world, was invented by a Scottish mechanical engineer James Watt, in 1779, It is used to copy documents.

5. REFRIGERATOR

First refrigerator was invented by William Cullen at the University of Glasgow America, in 1748. After that modern refrigerator was introduced by Baltzar Vonplaten and Carl Munters from Sweden. Generally refrigerator is used to Keep cool the food items.

6. RADIO

An Italian inventor, Marconi invented rad in 1895. We listen news, music am informative programs on radio.

7. TELEVISION

Television was invented in 1925, these scientists have contributed to this invention:

II. Phi loti Farnsworth (America)

III.John Logie Baird (Scotland)

On television, we watch different dramas, news, sports competitions and other informative programs.

8. AEROPLANE

Wilbur Wright and, Orville Wright, two American brothers, were the inventors or aero plane. They flew in their own manufactured aircraft themselves and made their first flight in 1903.

9. AIR-CONDITIONER

Air-conditioner was invented by American engineer willis Carrier in 1904.Air-conditioner is used to keep the room cool.

10. MICROWAVE OVEN

In 1945, Microwave Oven was invented by Percy Spencer, Microwave oven is used for heating the food items.
